check the brake booster vac line and it's valve, then check the booster itself.

you've got a vac leak somewhere (air + rpm rise)

My fluid is fine. From where do you check the brake lines from. Are they the thin metal rods conected to the master cylinder. I checked the hose fom the intake manifold to the brake booster and it was still conected. Didnt fll no air coming out of it. The valve on there I dont no how to check, and what would i be looking for.

If I have to change the brake booster, what size booster do I need? the auto shop is saying there are a few different sizes. Would I need a new master cylinder. The car is a 1990 honda civic si hatch with a single cam zc black top, if that matters.

thanks for responding.

I also read that I have to adjust the push rod in the booster with the Master cylinder piston, Can anyone tell me what to do. Those are the only two things that Iam stuck on.
