i would i had the money....i got 2500 bux for my motor biult and turbo kit...a grand is going to the turbo stuff...and 1500 to the motor. ill talk to the guy thats doing it to see whats the best way

 

I know someone run a d16z6 to 11.56 sec on the 1/4 mile, and run a nuformz block guard since 5 years it's daily driven

 

Block gaurds are just a gamble, they work for some people, and others they done, Throw it up in the ait and see what happens

 

I'm so sick of hearing about blockguards. I hate those ------- things. I was one of those people it didn't work for.

I'm using posts on the motor I'm about to put in, but my post count has nothing to do with my intellegence. I think with enough money you could make either of them beneficial, but I'm poor and posted.

 

Both are definitely proven to work and def strengthen the cyl walls. The block guard will provide more support at the cost of overheating if its not a well made block guard. Posts work just as well and you dont have the overheating problem.. you just have to do them right(Please refer to Kyles write up for this)
