Default block exchange poll

Ok i'm have trouble trying to find some good rods to put
in my d15b2 to go with my d16a6 head,piston are no prob.
my ? what d16 block besides the a6 could I use that will
fit properly in my 89 HB and give me a little mor power
till i rebuild the block to match the head.also will a
v-tec block work

take that d15b2 out and throw it away.


you should look around for a d16z6. stay way from t he d16y8s, they have shitty oil pumps.

I will when i find a new block but now its fine, my son
owned a gsr last night on the way home from work with
the way its set up now

gude/bulfrog a6 head 5angle exhaust 3 angle intake springs
retainers the works with a 272 cam aem cold air in take
all P&P intake and gude TB header fuel rail fuel press
and a few other things right now it puts down 112 hp to
the wheels and 96 ft#s tourque

I have some ZC pistons/rods for sale. They will give you the extra power you're looking for.

at least that is what my son told me,and i beat him
and he has a b16 in his 92 hb anyway i didnt think zc rods
would fit in a d15b2 i know the pistons will

ok i'm looking at a z6 block locally to go with my a6
head are there some holes that i have to plug up to make
this work and will the spark plugs line up also what about
my tranny a d15b2 will it match

Same setup I'm using. You need the oil jet out of a non VTEC block to put in the Z6 block. I'm not 100% sure if this is completely necessary, but I'm not willing to find out the hard way. Everything else is bolt up and go, including the tranny.
