Blasted crankshaft pully!

Blasted crankshaft pully!
Okay so I traded my friend a CRX Si alternator for a a6 block he had lying around, It might come in handy in the future. Well I started to take it apart, but I haven't been able to take the crankshaft pully off. That ---- just will not give WTF? I tried using a socket wrench and all it did was run the pistons. Next I tried an impact wrench, and still nothing, which way should I rotate the bolt? clockwise or counter clockwise? please help!
I also poured some oil in the cylinders, and after about three days I noticed that some of it had either bled through the piston/wall or evaporated :P which I doubt. Would it be silly of me to assume that the piston rings are bad and not sealing properly.

Re:Blasted crankshaft pully!
first spray some(alot) "PB Blaster", found at ur local autoparts store on it, let sit over night, then take out a spark plug and shove some clean rop in the cylinder(leave enough out to pull back out), so that tha the piston cant go through full travel and give that impact wrench another try. but wait u said it was block only, try PB Blaster and impact wrench. if worse comes to worse u can try the first option by throwing on a head
