yea, kinda weird. vtec has been working fine up till today. Funny part is i havent checked my oil in a while. check it and it didnt even read on the dip stick. so i added a quart and a half, it brought the oil level were its needs to be. But after that i lost vtec. its a zc vtec useing a p72 ecu. cause well it was free. Any body have a clue of what would cause this? only codes im getting are for o2 sensor....

 

You can try taking the solenoid assembly valve off the head and clean the screen. If you see metal shavings clogging it up it means you shoulda kept an eye on your oil level. :P

Ah.. you are correct. but um yeah i checked the screen and it was clean. So i donno.

 

my buddy had the same problem, it ended up being a broken wire leading to ecu
try and check that

 

well i donno and dont really care any more...car will be sold friday so its not my problem any more.
