Big Block Honda D?

I'm new to the honda world, but was wondering if you could match up a D17 (2001-03?) block to a Z6/Y8 head? Yes, no, what would compression be, will mounts work from a standard d-series engine bay, ECU, tranny fit...? Anyone have experience with this, or know where I could find info?

Thanks!

D17 spins the other way.
Honda switched from the 'backwards' spinning engines awhile ago.
Interesting idea none the less.

D17's still spin counter clockwise, K-series spin the right way..

Buy a D17 head gasket and let us know if it fits on the normal D16 style :)

Also bell housing configuration may be different, who knows if these things will even bolt to our trannys? what if they are odd balls like the d16a1's?
