Re:Bent Studs on Wheel Hub
I had a thick ass crowbar in between them, then took a big ass breaker bar to the axle nut! now all the studs are out of place and move around. :-\

mann that sounds like your really buff or really retarded..j/k
unfortunately that isnt quite the easy/fast fix...the studes wont come off unless you remove your hub and take it to a machine shop to have them removed. change your bearing while your at it |

Re:Bent Studs on Wheel Hub
Are you referring to the studs that hold the lug nuts that hold the whell on?
They are about a dollar each, knock those bitches out thread in new ones. I've done it hundreds of times to many diff vehicles (I would have to say that the ford explorer has been the biggest pain in the ass). |
Re:Bent Studs on Wheel Hub
:D Sounds like a plan. I appreciate the tips.
I should invest in a compressor and air impact gun. Sometimes I just don’t know my own strength. :o |
Re:Bent Studs on Wheel Hub
all you need is a pimp as breaker bar and some long as tube to break the axle bolt loose, after that its all good!

Re:Bent Studs on Wheel Hub
you just cant knock out studs on honda hubs. You need to grind the hub down slightly to remove/install the studs.
