I know people use B18 Integra LS Rods in honda motors, but I don't think they are a direct replacement. I think you would have to have a machine shop do it for ya.

Largest D-series Rods came from the 86-87 Integra D16a1. I am about 90% positive they are a direct bolt in. I havent had any in my hands in a very long time.. Supposivly they are to support in the 275 range..

B-series rods are also an option, but machine work is neccasary.

If thats the case you could prob. get an entire engine core with a good bottom end for less than the price off a set of aftermarket rods..you said you haven't messed with them in awhile... are they hard to find now or just havn't bothered with it?

we never realy bothered with them its kinda a pain much easier to buy a set of cheap aftermarket rods that will support twice as much hp. plus if you need stronger rods you probly already have good pistons i wouldnt trust a set of forged pistons to any stock d series rod, i am running srp's on my stock b16 rods with no problems.

well, i believe there is a guy on honda-tech that is in like okinawa or something haha. but anyway he sells B16 rods and supra pistons already machined to fit the ZC or D16 with piston rings for 500 bucks + shipping. not too shabby if you ask me.

I've been following that. I'm thinking seriously of doing it. Still wondering what the compression ratio would be like on a ZC and the rod stroke ratio.

You mean the same as any other D series right? I'd still like to know what it would be with a stock thickness head gasket. According to turbopanda his cr was 8.2:1 with 2.5 mm gasket. He also said that the pistons were "about" 1mm lower than stock. Now the cr on a zc is 9.5:1 right? But isn't the cr on a y8 like 9.6:1? So I still wonder where I would end up after useing those pistons! I'm guessing it might be a bit low for a ZC.. whaddya think?
