Beefing up a d15 block
 
Any suggestion on beefing up a d15 block??
b16 rods? vx rods and pistons??
what needs to be done to make these rods work??
whats brushing?
any help would be appericated :)

I'd say for beefing it up would be to fill the cylinders with concrete and toss it into the lake, no but really you can't even use 1.6 rods to work unless you get them machined and then get it bored out for any 1.6 pistons to work. Too much for too less. Go find a 1.6 dx block or si block, since you should be able to buy them for all the change in your couch cushions from leftover swap.

true true go on bay u can find d16y7's with low miles, i got mine shiped for 250 look for a "big" provin junk yard that is a business selling on ebay(less chance of getting ripped off ;D) and it came with a 6 month warrenty

OK I'D USE SRP FOGED PISTONS,EAGLE RODS,GET THE BLOCK SLEEVED AND A GOOD PORT AND POLISH AND A SET OF CRANE CAMS
I'D USE A T3/T4 TURBO AND A CUSTOM MANIFOLD RUN A NICE AMOUNT OF BOOST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MPFI ON THE ENGINE AND I TUNE IT WITH GETTODYNE ON A SI ECU
