because if you're on the strip and the emergency crews need to kill the battery to kill the motor in one of those bad situations, i doubt they'll wanna jump in the car and flip the switch.

example, lets say you lose control, nail the wall, and roll the car...they're gonna rush out, and kill all power before they start messing with getting you outta the car.

I think that you ahve to have an approved box also.

It has to be mounted in a certain way. You can get the NHRA specs on the web.

You hope they kill the power. Look at the burning DSM, no one hit the kill switch, fuel kept pumping!

All you need is:

-sealed box
-vent tube
-bolted with 7/16 inch bolts
-kill switch

I've never figured out the easiest way to do the alternator cutoff, but start the car and turn the switch off, and the car has to shut off. Maybe unplug the alternator during tech or take the belt off.


A write up on the correct way to hook it up would always be good too.

use the ignition signal or the + wire to the coil. pretty easy to do.
