What are the differences between the two? I know that the camshafts are different, but are there really any other differences. The B20 head seems to have bigger intake ports than the LS head but the exhuast ports are the same. Also what about the combution chamers, are they the same?

 

Really? the heads are supposivly the exact same cast design..

Are you sure the intake ports are larger? did you measure them?

 

Yes I measured them. I have a B20 head and I compared them to my friends B18a head. I noticed it right away. I thought that the b20 head had been ported previously before I recieved it but then I realized that the walls were still rough like how it looks like when it's stock. Weird, huh.

 

Very odd, I was under the impression the heads were the same, maybe it's the B18b heads and the B20 heads?

man, I put a b18a head on my b20 without even stopping to look for differences cause I have always heard they were exactly the same. The cams are for sure different, they really woke up my b20

 

Hmm, why did you do that for? Why didn't you just switch the camshafts? Do you have any parts for sale?
