the b18c tranny (s80) is a hydro tranny. The b16a (s1) tranny is a cable tranny.

you car (89) is setup for a cable actuated transmission.

You can use the s80 if you buy a conversion kit from hasport for $700US. But does it really sound worth it? Nahhhh.. use the s1.

yeah. also, the c1 tranny is less aggressive than the b16 one...so you'd be a little slower...

so theres no benefit to using the S80 anyway? what would i have to do to put a gsr inplace of my b16a aside from the ecu and locking open the 2nd butterfly? is the wiring the same or do I have to do it over again?
