b18b and b18a heads

are the heads different is one better or they the same and are the cams the same from a auto to manual ihave a head off of a 94 teg and is ported and was out of a auto car my motor is out of a 92 tag and its a manual

Heads are the same. 94+ b18b have a slightly more agressive cams maybe 2-3 whp worth.

get the IM and throttle body too. that should gain you 10ish :P

90-91 B18A1 OBD0 - 130hp 121tq
92-93 B18A1 OBD1 - 140hp 127tq
94+ B18B1 OBDI/II - 142hp 127tq

to my understanding the 90-91 head has smaller intake ports and different cams. from 93 to 94 they changed the throttle body to a 60mm unit and the intake manifold is changed also.
