B18a1 with a vtec valve cover

Default B18a1 with a vtec valve cover
i went to this car lot today and they had a 94 integra with a b18a1 in it. but the valve cover said vtec on it. they said it was a gsr, but it had cloth seats and i thought gsr's were b18c1's? is it a gsr or an ls/vtec? also it had a vtec controler in it

since B series VTEC valve covers won't fit on other motors...
sounds like it is a LsVtec motor

Yeah sounds like an LS/VTEC to me. Lets see.... 94 integras come with B18b's right Not B18a! Then with the valve cover.....yeah its LS/VTEC. How much do they want, maybe you should buy it if its still good to go.

well this one was a 94 and it has a b18a in it with a gsr head. i would buy it but its kinda in bad shape, but i might look into it anyway

if its 2g's or less., buy it, take the motor and part the rest out. (as long as the engine runns aok.)
