Default b18a or d16z6 in 88 hatch

just bought 88 civic hatch with a fucked up motor and I want to put a b18a in it but the car is an automatic and I never heard of any one swapping a b18 with automatic tranny in to one of these cars before.I want to know if every thing will bolt up.I dont want to make it stick because Ill be the first to do this around my way.so what do yall say?will I be able to fit the b18a with automatic tranny (then turbo ) or am I going to have to settle for a d16z6 ?
thanks ahead.

well yeah you can put it in there. with the right mounts, linkage, axcels, and what not...
why not just do a auto to manual swap?

2 reasons.1 is that Ill be the first one around my way to do autotranny swap and the main reason is that my wife is going to drive it most the time cause I drive my turboed integra. I think itll be bugged out but I just want to make sure that its possible

fro the auto-manual swap all you need to do is swap the pedal assembly, and if you are doing an LS swap you have to use diff anyways linkage anyways, its gravy

search on hondaswap.com there is a write up somewhere

i'd go fro the LS thats what i have in my 91 hatch and it moves pretty good. the swap was simple and it took me ~3 hours total to do the wiring changes
