b18a-b18b
the b18b intake cam is a hair larger than the a1 is, and yes it will fit into the a1 just fine...got one running in my a1 right now. Exhaust's are identical. I've been told also that the intake manifold is less restrictive from the b18b as well and has better runners, so coupled with the intake cam that's probably where the 10 hp difference is between the 2 motors.

AEBS Typhoon = $160, and either Crower 402T (or the Web grind they stole the revised 402T's specs from) or some medium duty NA cam.
ok how does this sound.... from the HG up the only thing thats the SAME between the 2 is the valves, valve springs, and maybe the ex cam. thats it. the head casting itself is different, the intake mani is different, the valve cover, the TB, the ECU, the intake cam, ---- even the fuel rails are different.
