Hey, I was wondering if I could use the alternator off my 90crx dx motor to go on my b18a it hooks up and everything but,it dont seem like i could get any tension on it cause the braket on the b18 is shorter than my old one

 

aslong as the pulley's line up you could just get a shorter belt

 

also if the crank pulley is the same style as the alternaor pulley (i.e. ribbed or "v" style, i don't know the technical names)
