b18 c1 in a 90 integra ls
i'm putting a beefed up gsr engine in my integra and i was wondering what should i be careful about? if there really is anything. I'm not actually doing the swap. i wasn't gonna fix up my car but this engine, trans and installation is gonna be from 800-1,000 so i was like sure why not. my car is pretty old so what should i watch out for.

Hardest part will be figuring out a ECU....
No obd0 B18 Vtecs... closest thing you have is a PR3/PW0 or use the Pr4 w/ a AFC. Jeff |
Re:b18 c1 in a 90 integra ls
jeff how about a b16 obd0 ?

Re:b18 c1 in a 90 integra ls
thats what I said ;)
PR3 or PWO both B16a OBD0 ecms.. you could also use a AFC type device, and use wideband on a dyno to get the thing dialed in good. Jeff |

Re:b18 c1 in a 90 integra ls
would a gsr ecu chip work in my ls??
|
Re:b18 c1 in a 90 integra ls
There are ways around that... you could use a rpm activated switch to open the butterflys, or get a SKunk2/JG intake ;)
I'm running a modified PR3 Application (Zdyne gold secu) A chip just doesnt snap right in your obd0 ecu.. you may need to make a post about this in the engine management section. Jeff |
