so in summary dont go out and buy a B17, its not worth it, but if it lands in your lap cool.

also: a T25 is too small for anything but a ATV or something. its too small for the DSM they came off of and every other car above 1.3L....
I have a T25 on my low 14-second 2000 DX... I think it's a 1.6L... and btw, there are plenty of 13sec T25 powered second gen eclipse's out there - go to a track... The b17 is expensive because it's rare... just like a Type-R Motor... Why go pay $3500-$5000 when you can get a gsr block for $500 and a b16 head for $400 and have the same thing.. if you're really ----, get a type-r manifold, pistons & cams for under $800 and ur still $2000 under a ITR, but people go and shell out $4k plus cus it's a "Type-R"... same thing

They make tons of parts for the B17, inlinefour.com has everything for those that it does for all other B motors. I think it would be cool to turbo such a rare motor, and as I showed you, there definitely are parts for it.
they have them cuz there the same as a B16, thought this was covered?

low 14's aint that fast...may cars are sold off the showroom floor that can do that....

Low 14's on a DX Motor in a 2500lb Civic with heavy *** Chrome 17's, full interior and beat is plenty fast homie... that's with a $400 turbo kit and half-descent tuning... Show me a car that runs low 14's that cost under $28,000 off the "showroom floor" speedy

as mentioned before i have had a couple setups now (couple different turbo kits and motors) and so far i have a handfull of 14sec timeslips (like 14.0's) and i really wouldnt consider that fast, good enough to dust off everett ricers but not enough to roll up on a Vette. anyone can run a 14 in a civic, i see 10-40 cars do it every time i go to the track......

but we are suppost to be talking about B17A's here...and as soon as i get some money and some new/not so used valves the B17 will be getting thrown in my ride with 10+psi of boost...

Than that's not off the showroom floor is it And I don't live up north somewhere where its nice cold *** dense air and everybody runs 14.9s and down... I run at FONTANA Speedway and anybody who has ever been there will tell you they get the shittiest times because of the fucked up track, high elevation and hot temps... I gaurantee that Transam wouldn't run a 12.9 here... and definately not on street tires... I watch them all day...

Yes,yes... and I've never lost to a WRX and I stay pretty even with a stock SRT-4 ... Your point smart *** You will most likely not pay 25k for a car now and beat me in it's stock condition...
