Honda/Acura Throttle Body Inside Diameters
in B16A3 is 58mm and in the B16a2 or JDM B16 is 60mm this is it.

 

Never seen a B16a with a 60mm throttle body, in USDM/JDM

60's came on B18c's B18b/B20b and 62's came on ITR/CTR's

62mm was also on the s2000

b16a3 was in the 94/95 dohc sols i believe
and the b16a2 came in the 96/97 sols

talking a 10 hp diff. and if it's true a little bit smaller tb.

do it up.

 

no some 94-5 sols cam with a b16a2 and b16a3. i found in the sols that the limited color ones got the b16a3 (ie the dark green, only 600 made in the color)other than that i have seen b16a2's and 3's in the 96-8 sols too. i never really did figure out why honda did that.

nope i have seen them in both OBD 1 and OBD 2. besides the 99-00 civic SI's have a b16a2

 

eh wtf. pre 96 is OBD1, thus b16a3. B16A2 is OBDII, that is why 99-00 Si's have those. 96+ del sol VTEC has b16a2.

 

becosue they kept the same motor over the years, the only diffrence is sensors, no big deal. and no, not all b16a2/3 are OBD 2, most were OBD 1.
