B16A2 into a 93 Civic Si Info
I'm looking for some information about the wiring.
I want to know what is my possibility because my Civic wiring is OBD1 and my B16A2 wiring is OBD2 and the wiring seems to be realy different. I want to know where can i get some info about this wiring harness swaps and what is the best way to do it ? thanx a lot!

I never went from obd2 to obd1, but since the 93 si is vtec all you need to do is transfer the harness from the si engine to the b16a2, there will probably be some sensors on the b16a2 not hooked up but if you reuse your p28 ecu you will be fine, you will need to modify the p28 to operate the b16, since was used on a d16, if you use a p30 ecu you will need to add a knock sensor wire since the 93 si dont have a knock sensor, it all easy to do...

You can use your Obd-2 Distributor but the plugs are diffrent. Get a obd-1 distributor plug and you can get that too work. the Obd-2 injector plugs are diffrent so just use your stock obd-1 injectors.

OK and does my OBD1 D16Z6 Distributor will work on my B16A2 or i have to change the B16A2 distributor plug ? and where can i get the wiring diagram to change the plug ?
Or i can just buy a GSR distributor ?

your d16z6 distributor plug should work on your obd-2 b16 distributor just find a wirring diagram. Yes you could just buy a obd-1 GSR or b16 Distributor, but why if you already have one that will work.

the only problem you might run into is if you choose to use a p30 ecu you will need to run a wire for the knock sensor, I was researching it but never got far into it, cause I use a p28. but its not hard I heard.

Your wiring harness dose not have a knock sensor because your stock P28 ECU dose not use one. If you stay with the stock p28 you wont be able to use a knock sensor and its not a problem. If you get a P30 or a p72 that use a knock sensor you will have to get a pin out of the ecu and run a wire too the knock sensor. I would just run the P28 and not use the knock sensor.
