Right now im in search of a b16a2 head, and someone e-mailed me saying this.

"I have a Ported & Polished b16a2 head, ported to allow for maximum free flow through out entire head, with a 3 angle -valve job, clean, no oil, with "0 miles" on
head since work was done. Still shrink wrapped and clean.

Porting was done by machine shop for street set-up.

Head comes only with Type-r retainers, Valve Guides.
$375 O.B.O"

Is there anything I should be wary of before committing myself? Everything sounds pretty good to me, but I've never bought engine heads from anyone before. Let me know what ya guys think and what to watch out for

errr...found a line on the message boards about a 3 angle valve job, sounds like something I shouldn't trust from someone i dont know

 

ask for pics of the head and for a receipt for the machine work.

 

not to mention, that head is bare except valve guides and retainers. you will need valves, springs, cams, etc.
