if the fuel pump was gone wouldnt it not pump no gas at all

Did you check the VTAK fluid?

how did you do the compression test those numbers are stupid low. Make sure you pull all the plugs, hook up the gauge, make sure the throttle is open all the way and crank it 4-5 times, and repeat for every cylinder. You should get over 200 psi with a good gauge.

i will try the c/r test again i dont think we opened up the thottle

did you check your distributor cap and rotor?? I had mine die like that once, it was because i had gotten some moisture inside the cap from it having a shitty old gasket

Same thing I was gona say. Realy low!!!!! How is your timing belt? Did you jump a tooth or two?

He didn't have it at WOT.

I figured it might be the coil, they usually up and die and will still give you spark in open air.
