Re: b16a wont start need help
i know what ur problem is. my buddy had the same problem in his 95 civic dx with a 91 sir jdm swap. as u said u played around with the timing belt in ur first or second post. so check ur -timing belt tensioner spring-. the timing might be off too. but my buddy and i check everything just like u are doing and it was just a little thing like that. so check it out and let me no if im right or not. thanks -swope-

Re: b16a wont start need help
heres wat happened today while messing with it. i messed with the ignition swtich first didnt replace it jus took the plug with the blu and white wires coming from it off the ign swtch. and put it back on then checked my main fuse box and 15 amp fuse was blown repalced that and then checked all of the grounds and battery cables then checked if the fuel pump ans main relay clicks and works then jump started it and it stayed on but was idling rough real badly. so i checked the FITV and tighten the ring cap all the way down and then finally checked to see if tensioner was loose and tighten it back after puting it to TDC and now itwont start again. its like before doesnt crank over. only starts and stays on if i step on the gas pedal when i let go it dies out quick... iono wat to think of now all i can think off is to change my oil and oil filter and see wat happwens there

When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? Fuel does start to gum up after sitting for long periods of time. Try taking off your injectors and cleaning out the screen filters, and replace your fuel filter and see if it gets you anywhere. Otherwise it might also me your timing on the motor itself, if the tensioner loosened up all the way it might've jumped a tooth or two. Check and see if all your tdc marks line up for the pulley and the cam gears.
