b16a code 14/+ vafc

i just did a b16a swap into my 89 ef and i'm getting a code 14 IACV,when i unplug it the idle gets rougher, therefore it's still good, also when i accelerated the car it redlines like at 3500-4000 and won't pass that, also i'm running a VAFC,would that have an effect on it? what could cause it to rev so ruff? any one with info i would appreciate it TONS!!!!!!!!!

Could be a dirty IACV. Take it off to check and clean it with some carb cleaner while you're at it.

code 14 means no electrical conection on the iacv
check it with a ohm meter should be aound 40 ohms or so i think if its like 600 som wack o number or nothing its fried most likely it your wires i never came across a burnt out iacv they just dont go.. they clog up and get dirty yes..
