If you were gunna swap in a new motor and build it for massive boost later down the road as soon as you had the money would you use a b16a or b18a? I know if i go b18a i will be slower until i get the boost on it, but if i go with the b16a will my potential be limited? Can the b18a still handle more boost then the b16a even if both are properly built?

 

B18 bigger displacment, b16a is harder to tune.

 

Yeah i would go with the b18a for boost alot more boost friendly, but dont get me wrong i love my b16a, i am more interested in all motor now..but if i were to do turbo again i will do b20......Dude u need to talk Ben into getting a b18a, he keeps throwing together d-series and blowing them up.... but yeah go with b18a.

I have both engines the b18 is all motor and the 16 is turboed with an 18g the 18 deffinately has mor toqure and les exspencive to work on and i think there is alot more potential in the b18 if done right. My b18 is slower but will run with the b16 when it is only running 5-6lbs of boost anything more and it walks away from the b18
