I am new here and I have a b16 (head and block are b16) swap and I want to change my timing belt and water pump. my question is that I took the water pump to auto zone and the 94 del sol dohc water pump doesn't match, the 90-92 integra pump does except that is has a smaller wheel on the pump, but would it still work? Any help would really help me out since I need to fix this car by the end of this weekend. Thanks in advance.

I would go in and ask for one from a 92-93 GSR, I cant remember, but almost %100 that is the one I used.

the 97 del sol vtec dohc is guaranteed to fit thats what I used, and also 99 si, when I order engine parts for my car I use the 97 del sol vteca and if the want a vin number just ask someone who has one to order it for you.

 

The reason they want a vin is becouse they had some weird deviations in the middle of the year for the 97 del Sol VTEC and the vin helps narrow it down on what part you are oredering for the car. same goes for hte 94 and 95 del Sol VTEC when ordering breaks. one style takes one set the other takes another and they need the vin for that.

 

i used a 94 gsr water pump. works just fine.
