ok i am swapping a b16 into an 88 dx hatch, it was a shell when i got it.....i bought an si wiring harness for the motor and hooked it all up, i put the motor in the car and on the drivers side of the engine compartment the connector from the engine doesnt plug into the stock harness for the rest of the car.....i am wondering if there is anyway i can rewire it or if the dx and si harness wont plug into eachother.....thanks!!!

do a search on hybrid.honda-perf.org. this swap is very common now a days. the 88 harness is diff at the ends then the other years. is the si harness from an 88? you have to wire the dual point fI to a multi point. its very easy and takes about an hour at the most to do. wait....someone did a research on this on this forum. dont remember who but it was about this dx to si/vtec wiring. if you dont get an answer soon....ill give you the info myself. im going to lala land in a bout 10 mins. but all you need is a resistor, injector harness for all 4 injectors, switch the tps wires around and move some plugs on the ecu pins and BAM....its on. oh yeah...of course hook up vtec and the knock sensors. but use your 88 dx harness....just disect it and extend the wires needed. good luck
