B16 Head on D16Z6 Block ???
Ok ... i didnt come in here to get flamed.... just that an oportunity came around to buy a 2ndGen b16 Head with all the fixings... for 80$... and i wanted to know if it is possible or worth slapping it on a D16Z6 Block? Whatever information you guys can give me would be appreciated.... Thanks....

You should just find a B16 block and put it on that. I don't think it would be worth it to put it on a D16Z6 block. I think you could even put that head on a B18A/B or even a B20 block too if you wanted. I think putting it on a B block would be a better choice since the stock bottom end can handle more than a D16Z6 block.

Here is the best way to look at a question like this. D series can interchange with d series. B with b. h with h and so on. And for 80 bucks it has seen better day. But if it's in ggod condition i'll give you 100 bucks for it seriously.

the real problem aside from the size differences is that the pieces will not line up with each other, and your engine coolant holes (I can't remember the official word) wont fit.
I'd buy it if I were you, if its from a trustable source... for $80 thats a good deal... and just resell Or get a block, I used to have one, sold for $225 (JDM block) check out eBay for some blocks. You'll also need the tranny and ECU for it.
