After getting my head back from the MS 1 of my intake valves failed the test so when i took the valve out i found that my head had dual valve springs. From what i know the b16 head doesnt have duel valve springs the kid i bought the car from didnt tell me about any head work he had done so im stumped. My freind is doing the same build as me we checked his head he only has singles. is this b/c his head is jdm i figure b/c i have a usdm b16 mabey thats the reason. my exhaust side is only single i Have a 99 SI.

 

they have duels on the intake and not the exhaust.... so do P72 heads... ITR/CTRspec PR3's got duels on intake and exhaust...

 

ok my head has pr3 stamped on it i thought only typr's cam dual springs

 

Only dual springs for both intake AND exhaust. All the rest are dual on the intake only like stated.
