B-series S1 tranny.....is it USDM or JDM?
i have two B-series trannies. one is an A1 i *know* its from a 91 Integra GS, but the other tranny is an S1 i got at the junkyard of unknown origin (should have been in a 91 RS...the one with ABS)...
the A1 was in my car for about a year on my LS motor, feels about like a L3 Si tranny (feels to have about hte same shift points). so i threw this S1 in my car when the motor was out for the LSVTEC to see if the tranny was even good. tranny feels different than the A1 did, shifts feel more possitive/crisp...hard to explain.
anyway the first couple of gears seem to go by quick but 5th gear seems to be the same as the A1??
so...what MPH should a JDM S1 tranny top out 3rd and 4th gear at 8000rpms? or what mph at whatever rpms in what gear (i.e. 60mph 3rd gear is xxxx rpms)?
thanks

s1 tranny is the jdm integra xsi tranny...same gear ratios as the usdm integra type r
i have that tranny on my b16a, it is nice and accelerates very well..always in vtec when i shift
I have 90 integra RS and it has a S1 tranny with a B18A1 engine so its USDM
