Ok well I'm trying to put a Del Sol vtec (dual core b16) radiator into my sohc Del Sol. Well obviously the hoses are bigger than the connectors on my block. So I'm trying to figure out how I could fit them on. I tried cutting my old hoses off at the connector and fitting the bigger hoses over the sohc ones on the block fittings. Cant get them over, anyone got any ideas?

 

go get some hoses for a del Sol VTEC

 

I have the vtec hoses. Thats the thing. The hoses fit on the radiator side. But on the block side the sohc hoses are smaller. So I gotta figure out a way to make the bigger Del Sol VTEC hoses fit the SOHC. =\

 

whats the i.d. of the bigger hoses?

 

ill check a little later. I'm going to see if I can fit my sohc hose over the larger radiator inlets/outlets.

 

I GOT IT!!! put a B-series in there! problem solved... (thats how i do things)

 

the sohc hoses should be able to stretch over the rad inlet/outlets. just lube them up w/ water or something. do not use wd40 and such as that eats rubber.

 

anyone know of any place besides honda I can get sohc radiator hoses?

 

auto parts stores usually have them.

Like auto zone or canadian tire or Napa. those kind of places.

 

Do i ask for them by make/model? Or is there usually just like generic hose?
