Re:b-series p/s and a/ questions
Nopes not gonna work the civic brackets are different from the b series ones. You can try them out and see if it works but most likely not. Anyways p/s and a/c are over-rated. :)

Re:b-series p/s and a/ questions
Would 1st gen B16A brackets work? I still have the ones I pulled of when I did my swap, had to use a custom bracket for a/c and don't have p/s.

when i swapped a a b16 for this girl i used the b16 p/s pump and bracket. i just cut the ones that were on the car and welded up back. worked like a charm : )

Re:b-series p/s and a/ questions
You have to get the brackets from one of those del sol's that came with a b16 stock.

Re:b-series p/s and a/ questions
the ac bracket that will mount your stock compressor to the b16 block is about $75 new from honda. no i don't have the part number, but i do have a pile of them for sale. been using the same ones for years. i guarantee they are correct and use all the hardware intended by the factory. NOT a p30 part number. used ones are $75 shipped with the adjuster pulley and arm.
if must keep the ps you'll need the brackets and pump from a b16 or gsr...don't forget the high presure line will need attention, too. |
