Ive been wondering will a b16a or any b-series engine fit on the 92 civic SI stock d-series motor mounts

um if you car didn't come with a b series. it won't fit

 

Not true random!The motor mounts on a d16z6 are the same as anny B series.If the car is a 92-95 civic it will just drop in.

no wrong... the mounts have to be from an integra, or b16 del sol. the top driver side is reusable, but the rest are from an integra.

Ive seen this problem many many times her in poland and as a rule i would say that swap from D to B are pain in the ***.
I have seen hundred of web pages that says it is childish to do it but i know few friends that have spent far too much bucks on those kind of conversions.

 

The mounts have to be from the "B" motor you are swaping but as far as I know the mounting pionts in the engine are the same.So you would need a B series motor with mounts(brackets) .Not reuse the D ones.

But hey maybe Im wrong!

2 LOWER SIDE MOUNTS MUST BE CHANGED EXCEPT FOR THE UPPER DRIVER SIDE MOUNT, WHICH IS REUSED FROM THE CIVIC AND THE UPPER TRANNY MOUNT (CIVIC). U MUST ALSO USE THE INTEGRA REAR MOUNT BRACKET!!!
