For simple street builds aka under 300 whp I recommend a stock ported manifold. The stock honda manifold is a great tool that just needs work in the hands of a skilled porter to make things happen. Its been proven over and over again

I've heard the AEBS is a decent turbo manifold however it must be flow matched first.

Just my 2 cents. You can run different manifolds on different motors. You have to know what your doing and be a good welder slash fabricator. My friends car is a 90 Civic HB. With a fully built turbo set-up on a B18a LS motor. He's using a type-R intake manifold BUT you must cut and re-weld the coolant passage from the non vtec manifold. IT's a pain in the butt but it can be and done right. Yes it's not a direct bolt on swap but it's possible and have done it myself. the only reason why we used the type-r manifold was because it was ported and polished and was basicly free so why not. Plus we wanted to prove some nay sayer's wrong. Nice right up man didn't see the B 17 manifold either but i'm guessing it's the same as a B16

That is true also. I run a B16/B18C5 intake manifold on my A20A3, the ports are close (b series is a little larger) but the spacing is correct and the bottom bolts line up, the top bolts need to be drilled but when you do it fits perfectly. It absolutely needs to be portmatched to the head
