axle/ intermidiate shaft combo ??

Default axle/ intermidiate shaft combo ??

doing a h22 swap in a 90 accord and it was originally a automatic, i was wondering what axles to use and what intermidiate shaft, im guessing prelude si h22 axles and a f22 5 speed intermidiate shaft? lemme know if its different, thanks ya'll

You want to make sure to use a manual Prelude halfshaft with the prelude axles (which have bigger spiders in them then do the accord axles). The difference is that the f series int shaft.. has the female spined end and the drivers side axle slides into it, whereas the prelude (h series) halfshaft has the end of the shaft itself splined and the axle slips ONTO it.

I used axles and halfshaft out of a 96 si (the h23 one is the same as the h22). On the drivers side i DID have to grind the heads of the bolts on the back of the steering knuckle around the hub however...

Either way i belive you need to use an H axle on the pass side, but use the aforementioned combos above for the drivers side.


That should do it...
