Default automatic accord

My friend has a 94 automatic accord... the car doesnt shift past first gear when its cold. when its really warmed up it does most of the time. when he floors it it slips bad when it shifts. i dont know much at all about autos cause ive never had to work on one , i think it might be the tourqe converter but im not sure. its got a new filter and the fluid is full. please help me...

There is an Electric Controller under the hood I think that is proned to corrosion due to the elements of being outside.

My 91 Accord does the same thing, but the is about 300 other wrong with it that I'm waiting for one thing to kick out and for it to get throuwn on the trailer and melted for it's weight in scrap metal!

Also this should be in the Tech Section!!!
