anyone make a b motor to d series tranny adapter?
i know theres some sort of b to h series one, why the hell not a d to b motor one? b series trannys are always grinding and expensive..

lol, but the adapter would be more expensive then two trannys. i know the H2B adapters are going from $850-$1350 depending on where yuo get them and the quality.

b motor d trans I belive bisimoto is building one but imo its a waste
cable b trans range from 200 for a basic ls to 600+ for a baller ys1 w/lsd and can be built with tons of custom gearing where the D is very linited |
Re: anyone make a b motor to d series tranny adapter?
Ewww why b motor to d trans? I don't see a point. I hope he's working on a d motor to b trans, considering all of his other work has been sohc.

i read on bisi's site that the D gears are stonger than B gears so they can take more abuse, thats why there is a B>D adapter

what axles would you run, cause then you'd just be breaking d series axles if you ran them ;)

Re: anyone make a b motor to d series tranny adapter?
Just run cable LS trannies. There's boatloads of these things at the junkyards I go to. I say just break out a bigass drill and make it fit HMT style.

pick up a beat y1 or j1 and rebuild it. it'll end up costing the same a a good used one but it will be fresh
