anyone ever re-use headbolts?

I'm rebuilding an a6 and I don't want to wait for arp's to arrive. Has anyone ever re-used their old head bolts? Or should I just get the arp's?

probably can reuse them.. but arps are better.

measure their length b4 u put them in to see if they have stretched at all.

I reused a set and ended up with a blown head gasket. They were stretched though. It was like the third time I reused them.

110K miles, reused 3 times..

I reused mine it leaked...then tried to reuse it again ..also snapped a bolt in the block

Go figure
