is it possible to use the alternator from my d15b2 on my A6?

 

you should be able to use it. I'm using a obd2 alternator from a d16y7 motor on an a6 right now. Its on my friend's mini-me setup. But its in a obd1 civic. All the mounts should be the same. So it should bolt right up.

The only concern is the alternator plug from the a6 might be different from the d15b2. I dont for sure if its the same or not. So someone else might be able to answer it for you.

 

b2 and a6 alternators are swappable =)
