Some of the larger name shops maintain good relations with JG. Javier is a clusterfuck of mispriority, and the little guy dealing with him sometimes gets screwed because he always bottom line takes care of the Big Name people that write his meal tickets.

So, the trick is to get a Big Name guy to order your ---- for you. I'm sure you know someone, Bone, if you think about it. If you don't, chris, I could probably do a one time favor. Since it is JG... no guarantees about your money or merchandise

What does JG have that I could want? Certainly not a camshaft, seem too many runflats from him and Bill. Edelbrock IMHO dropped him for a reason......

If I want a custom cam, I'll just call Laurie, I've chatted with her quite a few times. She helped GREATLY when I discovered the D15B7/D16A6 differences YEARS ago. Hell I was on WebTV back then!

But a .480 lift is kinda big LSA is 108, forget the duration numbers.

Not sure what your asking? It depends on the cam. A mild cam will allow stock valvetrain but if you actually want to make power yes you will need to upgrade your springs, retainers has the larger cams require it. Also you will need to clay your motor to make sure there is no valve to piston contact
