Damnit. The guy rebuilding my bottom end just called, turns out the block is pretty tore up from the spun bearing.

So, I have to work tomorrow, and I need my car. His solution...a good running d15b7 with the z6 head on it.

----, D15 rods. gay.

So those of you that actually have a d15/z6 mini-me setup, and have boosted it, tell me what this thing can handle. I worry about those rods, and with the GReddy snail, want to know what kind of boost I can shove into that thing.

At least until I build a z6 again.

I was pretty impressed with my D15 mini-me, it seemed to like alot of timing (well all my motors do) but, this one reponded pretty well and I was able to get a 13.5 in my crx with 8psi. Have faith in the little D..

Well mine held 8-9 psi w/IHI Probe turbo and it ran REALLY good. I was using Beerbongskickass's tune(Thanks for making it public). Suprised the sh** out of me and my friends. I was actually edging out two of my friends that have EFs w/LS swaps and 75 shots.

Just be sure not to let the boost creep too high becuase mine got to about 14-15 psi one cool night and all of a sudden it sounded like I hit a gravel patch. The #3 rod snapped. Actually happened on my second mini-me also.

Got a Y8 and wideband now so hopefully when I get it together again it will hold up a little better.

i too am thinking about the whole d15 bottom end. i dont wanna use my SOHC ZC just yet.. i figure i keep it till i ---- up the old d15. However i want to use the ZC SOHC cam and covert it to MPFI. We'll see how it goes!
