Default AE92 4afe ITB project

I made an itb for my beater car but its waaay rich at idle. Does this mean the engine is not getting enough air at idle or the vacuum on map is not strong enough?

Holy ---- man, looks good.

Try finding a better vac source for the mpa (Brake Booster) and see if that helps. That looks really damn sick. Do you have a writeup at all for it? Thanks

This is a big reason why alot of people have gone away from them. If your motor runs a map sensor the signal isnt gonna close to what a throttle body will create. A vacuum manifold may also help. Check tunertoys.com golden eagle section

I just made me a vacuum manifold from spare T"s and hoses. I'll install it tomorrow and see if it works

I dont have a write up its straight forward. The most difficult part is fabricating the throttle and auto trans. cable bracket. I made it from flat steel bars. And make a vacuum manifold coming from each tb and don't just stick the sensor in a single tb. ( I learned it the hard way)

I made the manifold, but still no luck getting it to idle correctly. This project is harder than I thought.
