Default adjusting valves

hey guys it's that time again, adjusting the valves on my Y7, their knockin' pretty hard. The only problems is that last time I did this it was on my 88 CRX sir, and the next day I blow the head. I'm gonna try one more time, plus this will give me a good reason to my wife for the mini me.. n e ways question is can i use the same size feeler for both sides of the valves, and what size would that be and yes this time I have the proper tools to do this thanks....

SOHC =

.007-.009" intake

.009-.011" exhaust

Personally I run .005" intake/.006" exhaust

Make sure engine is hot...lash will get tighter if you adjust cold.

just alittle more lift and duration.........

way back when I got 118 whp from a 102 chp motor, partly due to the A6 cam and tight lash.

Idle is a mother ****** though, MAP not happy with that lope
