act 8 lb flywheel

Default act 8 lb flywheel

it has a replaceable clutch surface on it. i was wondering if i would have to replace it when installing a new clutch

If you replace your stock flywheel with a lightened one, aren't you going to throw off the harmonic balance? I think 8 lbs is a little too light IMO. Maybe 11 is okay. But yes, highly recommended that you're better off replacing the clutch surface if the surface is worn down. If it still has a lot of surface, then it's kool and the gang. But ask first what the others think. I won't be boosting for a while until I get more money, so clutch surface isn't a matter for me right now. Are you boosting or planning to boost?

i am boosted and staying that way. z6 on 10 lbs with uberdata

kind of a wierd question but would you be able to flip the surface over and use it again?

no because the screws holding the surface on are counter sunk
