My boy, specialk, on your boards, just put together a HMT and he is still shitting his pants over it.

thanks again!
you would spend less money putting together a turbo kit than if you bought all of the bolt on goodies for your engine, and make tons more power, it's a win win.

Yes I would agree about the win win situation, but the problem is that the car cant have FI because of the sick power gain which would also improve my chances of getting to know a guard rail or tele pole on a more intimate level, if you can pick up what im putting down.

The whole reasoning behind it is that im trying to get ridiculous power out of just the engine. Not sure if its going to happen. Id be happy with 200% HP gain off of stock, which would land me in the neighborhood of 270-290 at the wheels.

you're not going to get those kind of numbers with out forced induction, or swapping an f20 (s2k engine) in there :P

ya man, with b16 NA you'd be LUCKY to get 200 w/ EVERY bolt on known to man.

but by that time you would barely be able to drive in on the street.

yeah, not to mention all the damn money it would cost to even get 200 hp out of an na b16, if it's not street driveable by then, at least you can live in it on the street

OBDII injectors are compatible with OBD1 ECU.

The P28 is the most chipped OBD1 ECU and will work perfectly fine chipped with B16 maps, and will cost 1/8 of the price of a P30

OBDII distributor will work fine with an OBD1 ECU.

basically, bolt the engine in, run wires for the knock sensor and go with it.

haha this post is funny lol here is what you need to get the car running. (done swaps liek this more than a few times)---

-you can use the OBD 2 dizzy but you need to cut the connector or make a "conversion harness"
-you can use the OBD 2 intake manifold but you will need the IAT sensor out of the intake tube of the SI.
-the injector clips are diffrent but can be made to work.
-the P28 ECU WILL run a b16a2 engine lean and will need to be chipped or get an OBD1 P30 ECU.
-If you go with the P30 ECU you will need to wire for knock sensor.
-OBD 2 has a sensor mounted on the oil pump for the crank possition sensor, wire it if you use an OBD 2 ECU
-OBD 2 also uses 2 O2 sensors and they needto be wired if you go OBD 2.
- you will need to get a new drivers side mount, the SI's mounts are completely diffrent on that side.
-Use the tranny and rear mount that came with the b16.
-make sure to get the axles as well as the half shaft
-make sure you upgrade your radiator to a del sol VTEC one.
-fuel line is diffrent as well. make sure to get a b16 one.(from the filter to the rail)
-O2 possition will be diffrent, the O2 that you will use if you go OBD 1 is the one before the car and you will have to extend the plug from your current O2 to the rear of the engine just before the cat.
-The plug for the altinator will be diffrent as well. you will need to modify it, i do not belive the D16Z6 alt will work.
-make sure you use the engine harness that CAME with your car!!

That is all i can think of off the top of my head.
