Re:92 civic dx
92 ex/si head ecu and wiring
|
Re:92 civic dx
you dont need the whole harness from an ex. you can use your stock harness, you will need to run two wires for the ecu for vtec sol. and vtec oil press. check out the site for the wiring.

Re:92 civic dx
I'm sorry my fault the car is a 91 DX, and my problem is that it's a dual port injection system, and I wonna turn it into a four port injection. I have a head, and the manifold to go with that head, the injectors, the ecu, etc... but my problem is I know that I can't just throw on the head, and expect the car to start right up so what else do I need??? wiring wise...

Re:92 civic dx
what year and model is the head from?

Re:92 civic dx
you need the injector resistor box and the wiring for the new injectors. This is a common swap, check the net there is alot of info on this.

Re:92 civic dx
88, where do I check for this??? what do I type in the engine search????

Re:92 civic dx
a resistor box is something you will need to get from a junk yard. its a little greyish/silver box that is on the driver sided near the shock tower. It looks like a heat sink on a amp / compter.

Re:92 civic dx
88, I was just told that I don't need to change the head for what I wonna do, I was just told that all I need to do is change my intake mainfold. Oh!! I know what the resistor is.. "remember" my goal is to turn my dual injection system to a regular 4 injection system.. thanks...
