Re:90 zc hb keeps on eating alternators
its been acouple of days now and it is completely random now. on the way home i could (at first) pop the light OFF with a good hit on the brakes. checked all the cables plugs grounds (added ones as well). NO drop in voltage even with the bat light on
DAY OF FIRST POST:
when i got back to the shop to fire it up the light was not on. (batt). i pulled it in the shop and turned it off. fired it up no light. turned it off. boss poped the hood started it up and no light with a constant 14 v at the alt. turned it off. when checking tension on the belt the the ghetto black tape rigged air temp sensor came unpluged and at fire up, to pull out, came a check engine light soon folowing a batt light.
i turned it off. on , still on
90 dpfi to zc mpfi with heat shrinked solderded taped and tubed connections. it cant be water but it has been very wet out lately and thats when it **** up
not altennator
pissin me off
