90-93 integra spindles on my 89 civic...how bad will the geometry be?
My driver's side hub bearing is fubar'd (it actually fell apart in my hands when I took the spindle off the car) and I can't seem to find another complete spindle for it locally. I did run across a kid selling complete and good condition integra spindles, so I'm going to go pick them up tomorrow afternoon. I'm just wondering how bad my suspension geometry is going to be off once I swap them over. I've heard everything from camber/caster being completely fucked to it just needs a toe adjustment. What's the real deal here?

Most of the people with problems probably tried to use 90-93 integra spindels on 92 and up.Which everyone knows 94-2000 integra only fits.
I have had 91 integra spindels on my 89 crx and they fit fine.Except the brake bracket rubbing my rim.Upgrade to 15 inch rims.
When you use 90-93 spindels on a 92 up civic, your wheel's camber out. It's like the cv axel's are not long enough.
Anytime you mess with the spindels, they always need to be adjusted back to spec.

Well I just got the driver's side on (didn't get home and started on it until almost 6pm :P )
and so far it looks pretty good. I can tell the toe is going to be quite a bit out just by looking at it, but I'm really interested to see how the roll characteristics will be along with camber. Doesn't look like it'll go for alignment on monday, perhaps tuesday morning or so.

Left Right
Camber -1.04 -1.06
Toe -0.01 -0.06
And for the fronts...
Camber -0.62 -0.69
Caster 2.55 2.57
Toe 0.02 0.01
That was the closest we could get it for now, strange part was when I first pulled it in even with the DA spindles I had -1.70 and -1.94 camber in the front. I actually had to raise the front's a hair and then corner balance it. I think I'm going to invest in a nice set of adjustable UCA's, not just some cheapo camber kit. The ride feels a little strange at first, but I probably just need to get used to it. Time to go find some twisties!
