Yeah, i have one on mine. The thing is, its best to have everything balanced on your motor for it to last. That's why most people i know that has (lighting flywheels-pullys)have had motor problems, 3 months down the road. From spinning a bearing or just blowing the motor. It just seems right to have everything balanced, just like the factory did. Either way it could be good or bad..To me i don't care, my motor's really never last that long anyway..

godo idea, put it on.
i guess 99% of the aftermarket flywheel are balanced already, ppl are having problem when they lap the stock flywheel to lighten it. and they are having problem with solid aftermarket crank pully.

Re: 8lb flywheel ?
go for it. i did and happy with it.
pro's...quicker acceleration/quicker decleration and less rotating mass
con's...quicker decleration between shifts due to less rotating mass
results...accelerate quicker and shift faster or keep foot on gas during shifts and save a few miles/hr when johnny law hits you w/ the radar gun and your detector goes off-react quickly...lol
